Poplar

Custom Grade

✦ Custom Grade Poplar will use the sapwood of this straight grain species for the face of all panels, frames, veneered plywood, and solid inserts.
✦ The sapwood color of Poplar is creamy white with streaks of green, purple, brown and will be blended for a pleasing match. The brown heartwood is allowed in the machined areas of the face and anywhere on the backs of all products.
✦ Occasional mineral streaks, pin knots and small burls are allowed on the face.

Note: Poplar is not recommended for stained finishes.
