Veneer: The core material for both ¼" and ½" thick plywood is medium density fiberboard, MDF. The veneer faces are "A" grade, plain sliced and book matched with a matching species back. The same grade plywood is used for both CUSTOM GRADE and SELECT GRADE plywood insert doors and DPP (Door Plywood Panel)
Note: The color of the plywood used in doors will not always match the color of the solid wood frames. Although we strive to minimize this difference, the variation is considered acceptable. While all plywood conforms to the formaldehyde emission standard, ASTM E 1333-90, it cannot be considered formaldehyde free.
The standard for the custom cabinet industry.

Character markings such as pin knots and mineral will be fewer and less pronounced than the Custom Grade. Only very slight occurrences of the heartwood in the machined areas are acceptable.
